☀️3 days in Gyandja, sunny Azerbaijan☀️

March 6-8, 2020

Before quarantine I managed to fly to sunny Azerbaijan! Only three days, but the town of Ganja is not very large.

Already from the plane you can enjoy the views of the mountains! I think it was Georgia.

Amazing view!

In Gyandja we were walking a lot and have visited main sightseeings. But weather wasn't so good.

Bottle house - the walls of this building are made of empty bottles. Why?

Heydar Aliev park - A huge, beautiful park, in which fountains and all kinds of tourist establishments work in the summer. But not now:)

Khan Baghi park - nice place for walking.

Goygol lake - recently opened for visiting, even the local people were not all here. Entrance is paid, which saddens ...

Zirzemi - Soviet style restaurant. Very interesting place, mostly russian food.

Airport is very small and there are no shops or something interesting

 

An interesting and fairly authentic city, a great place to spend a weekend! Amazing food and fruits!
